Works OK May 27, 2008 I migrated from a 802.11b Linksys WET-11 wireless bridge to the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter purely for space and entertainment center tidiness reasons. I use a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router.
Here are my experiences in the 3 weeks I've used the wireless network adapter:
The Good
--------
-It's wireless!
-I haven't detected any bandwidth or signal issues (save for the 2 disconnects below)
-I cleared up the space my wireless bridge was taking up (small but space none-the-less)
-I freed up a slot on my surge protector that my wireless bridge was taking
-I no longer have an ethernet cable to worry about/get in the way
The Bad
-------
-I have been disconnected from XBL twice since I've had the wireless adapter setup and not once when I used the wireless bridge. One of those disconnects required an unplug and replug of the USB cable on the adapter.
-Minor gripe but for some reason I no longer get auto-connected to XBL and have to either manually connect or boot up a game. I've left the system on the dashboard for up to 30 minutes and still no auto-logon to rule out router authentication issues.
Summary
-------
Despite the issues I've had I do not regret this purchase but probably only because I was able to get it here for about $75. I gave it 3 stars though because I've been disappointed with performance versus my old 802.11b wireless bridge and the price.

Works great, too expensive Mar 28, 2007 This adapter is very easy to use and has worked flawlessly since I've had it. Going through a wireless connection does introduce some gaming lag once in a while due to a bad connection, but other than that it is the same as directly hooking into the router.
I have used this with at least 4 different routers, all with encryption and had no problems with connecting.
It is insulting, however, that they make you pay this much for a simple wireless adapter. A similar product for a PC would cost about $30. This thing sells for triple that.

very good Mar 27, 2007 pricey, but a very good product, i brin gmy 360 to all my friend's houses and no more 50 foot ethernet cords. its definatly worth it.
Pricey but it works well. Mar 26, 2007 I got this for my son. It was pretty easy to set up and it works well. Why does it cost twice the price of a wireless router though?
